I couldn’t help but think about this in relationship to family! There is a lot of action as children grow and enter into the world of extracurricular. Using the bridge analogy, sometimes I think it’s easy to feel like the bridge is falling and the action HAS to go on. Sometimes it might feel you’re jumping or swinging from floating wood, metal piece, etc. to get to the action. In order to function and a bridge, every family member no matter what the age must contribute. This has helped me to get the bridge functional again in my family!
Thanks for taking time to share your thoughts. I really appreciate the application to family and how everyone needs to contribute in their role to “get the work done.” Even this “organizational unit” (family) takes structure and intentionality. Thanks again for your comment.
